This is the male of a 25 year old mated pair of clowns.
He started getting these about a week ago.
He is swimming and eating fine.

What is it and what can I do for him?

I'm really not sure, but could it be Lymphycystis? Worth looking up I think.

Well if it is, it is not typically deadly, only if lesions interfere with organ function. They can go into remission with good nutrition and perfect water parameters and conditions.

If you have access to a fish vet, might be worth it to test it to see if it's something to treat or just let it work out.

Btw I've been reading so much about Lymph since I still have a QT'd Lymph tank. What I found in the end is a lot of misconception and little actual scientific data because there's no money in it since it is only a cosmetic issue that can be removed off fish for consumption. It's similar to the wart virus (HPV I think in humans). If it is Lymph!
@Silbar, do you have an opinion?
