As most of u know i have noone around me that i can talk fish so unfortunately i ask a ton of questions here. So since my heater broke my nitrItes went to zero and i still have ammonia in the tank. I have attached my most recent water tests. I did just put a hefty dose of ammonia in yesterday. But i just dont know y at this point its not quickly converting it nitrItes. Anyway my question is. Since my ph dropped all the way down to about 6 should i do a water change

If I remember correctly you had nitrites in the tank already, but they dropped to 0? If that is then what you are seeing is normal. In my experience once my tank is cycled my nitrites stay at 0 even if I add some ammonia to the tank to keep the bacteria fed.

I'm not sure how much ammo is you added, but as long as you added 1 to 2 ppm you should see it drop to zero in a couple of days time. If you see that then I would say your tank is cycled, do a large water change, and you are ready to add fish.

Yes u are correct i had nitrItes for a long time then one day boom they where gone. I have been expecting my ammo to drop to 0 in 24 hrs. Ibhave been waiting for that bright yellow confirmation but it usually has a sharp drop then goes to a dull green. And stays there for days.
