Just a few other takes on the subject.

So i have been testimg my water every day and waiting for it the ammonia to get to absolute zero before i added any more ammonia. However from February 8th to February 11th my ammonia took a sharp drop but i have been waiting for that bright yellow before adding more however it always seems to have a little green tint to my ammonia tests. Is this considered good enough. I dont want my good bacteria to starve.

No worries, it would take many days for an entire BB colony to completely die off, depending on the size of the colony.
