    Yes, I treated with prime and stresszyme. A second anglefish died. It was struggling. The remaining one is quite healthy --swimming freely, breathing normally, eating and full finned.

    Once you have the test kit you should measure the ammonia and nitrites daily and do appropriate water changes to get those at appropriate levels for the fish. Ammonia and nitrites should not be more than 0.25, 0.5 max.
    This is the best advice. We will be happy to help coach you along to get your tank cycled correctly but please do not add anymore fish until that is completed.

    Yes, my ammonia is at 0 and nitrates at 40 but my nitrites are at 3. What do I do?

    do a 90% water change change to bring it to less than 0.25ppm since you have fish in the tank. You have to measure ammonia and nitrites everyday, and do a large enough water change to bring the to 0.25ppm or less.

    That's why you dose with Prime for the entire tank volume everyday.

    Would you say my tank has cycled since its been three months and my ammonia is 0, nitrites is .5 and nitrates is o?
