    Default Jester's GloFish Tank

As strange as it is for me to post this, given the fact that I am generally a saltwater guy. About a year ago though, I decided I wanted a small low maintenance tank for my office at work and it just wasn't practical for me to do saltwater there. So, I went with Glofish to have color. I am an odd duck in that I had saltwater before freshwater so this is actually my first freshwater tank:

Sadly I lost the Red one many months ago but the other 3 are still doing well. I recently added some Cherry Shrimp to the tank:

I agree, looks like a great glo-fish tank and the cherries look good in there too.

One of the guppies didn't make it. Not sure if the other had problems with it or if one of the Tetras got too nippy. Found a cool little juvie endlers and couldn't resist:

After switching to my Tapwater/RODI mix and my previous failures with Cherry Shrimp (never could keep them alive long), I decided to give shrimp just one more try and got a couple of Ghost Shrimp for the tank and thus far it is going well:

Caught this guy being proactive for food and swimming up like the fishes do at feeding time:

Love these guys. I had a population of ghost and amano in my old 75 and I used to be able to hand feed a couple of them. They knew my hand meant food and would take it from my fingers and sit and eat then come back for more, lol. Very fun shrimp to watch.
