Ok well weekend flew by and I can't remember what I did yesterday other than drive to a fish store and nursery. I got 2 barclaya plants and a piece of DW. Was going to get a pearl gourami male since my very old male finally died in the 125. However the males had odd white bumps on them. Not ich, much bigger almost > o < sized. So I passed. Will wait till they have better stock. So all the gouramis in my 125 are females, the pleco is a female and I believe the eel is a female too- lol. Sorority tank going on right now.
Today was a slow start, and it has been raining-torrential, all day. It will be raining tomorrow and Tuesday too. We are under a flood warning, have been this past week, all of the rivers were near the flood level last week and now they are a foot or two over in some areas.
So not wanting to have done nothing substantial this weekend, I decided to bring down the 40ish gallon cube tank that I was thinking of setting up as a salty tank. Instead I set it up as a brackish tank and broke down the 30 gallon bumblebee goby tank. The decor is 99.9% new, only thing I brought over from the 30 was a large piece of lava rock, the only one that wasn't covered in some of the hair algae that was slowly taking over the 30 gallon. I think it turned out pretty nice. Took a few hours to clean the tank, substrate, rocks and wood...the only new piece in the tank is the wood, everything is recycled from other tanks we broke down recently or previously (other house). Substrate came from Sis's 75-same with the rocks, tank was a Facebook marketplace special, filter is from the goby 30 tank I just added another level to it by adding another sponge/parts that I had laying around, added a small whisper filter to help with circulation and stuffed it with polyfil to help with any debris from the sand, heater is from the 30 gallon river tank I broke down a few weeks ago and the lid is on half of the two piece lid that was on my sister's 75 gallon tank.
I have 7 gobies, but I think I may add a few more to the tank and possibly some guppies too. Had to get a new phone so sorry if the photos aren't the best, still figuring things out. My phone was taking calls/tests sporadically-like never. Had to shut down/a few times a day.

The little guy to the left is Gomez, the one I had in a 5 gallon for a month or two before upgrading him. He is still half the size of the others.

Thanks Matt. Will try a video with the new phone later today. I am "working" right now (lol). I checked them this morning and all 7 are A-OK and have gotten their "spots" in the tank. I fed them some blackworms and fed 90% of the fish downstairs (minus the eels and puffers)
I mentioned all the rain we have been getting, got three emergency alerts today already, though no rain until tonight/tomorrow.
Flood Warning issued May 18 at 11:47AM CDT until further notice by NWS Milwaukee

Yeah, that weather system moved through here Friday/Saturday with lots of rain, it's gorgeous here now...close to 90F, but lower humidity...we'll always take that
