@Silbar:
Sorry, yes I got the 8 congos, they are very small so I can't tell 100% sex right now. I am afraid the syno will think they are a snack. Also got 3 SAE and 3 forktail loaches.
So got seriously sick this weekend, have been home these past 2 days (mon-tues) just coming back today and am still out of it. Going to take it slow at work.
Sunday before I got really bad, I caught the (majority of) kuhli loaches and pearl gourami out of the tub. Bad news is that my male pearl died I dunno when so I only have 2 skinny females. Good news is that I had a perfect breeding ground for my kuhlis, though some of the adults passed as well. I also got the snakeskin gourami from the other tub. The gouramis are in the 125, the kuhlis in a 40B right now-they will move to the 50 low boy hopefully this weekend. Hoping to get some more done this weekend.

Thought sis got more than this one pic...but this was the smallest and first one I found. I wound up catching 5 before I gave up. I also did a WC and sucked up a bunch of mulm and I can only guess more baby kuhlis could have been in there.

Thanks Matt. Feeling like a space cadet at work, but I will get over it soon, I hope.
How has things with you and your tanks been? I still can't get new posts to work for me and haven't seen anything new while I was searching through the journals.

Thanks, I was happy to see it...offsets some of the losses in the tank....down to 1 gourami, from 3, only a few glolights left, I think I'm down to 5 hatchets (from 7) as well...it is what it is, I guess
Need to get more rummynose, been meaning to do that for a while...local petstore keeps them sometimes, but I have no way to QT, so kinda scary...also need to find some more otos locally, they did wonders on the algae in one of the betta tanks, the other betta tank needs that kind of help, badly

You don't have space for a tub anywhere as a temporary QT for a month-ish? If I remember correctly you have a not so LFS that was decent... Right?

Sponge filters are great for QT tanks. Heck I could send you one and it may even still be cycled when you get it. All you need is an air pump.
