Newspaper lined styrofoam boxes are your friend when it's below tropical temperatures. Depending on temperature and distance traveled 24, 36, and 48 heat packs are necessary. You'll have to consider the time if arrival, where it will be processed, if the box will be sitting overnight in a heated facility, etc, as to prevent cooking or freezing the fish. Tape the heat packs to the styrofoam lid red lines facing into the box.
Thanks so much for your comment. How do you figure out whether the box will sit in a heated facility or out in a truck overnight?

Don't worry about it! And you should have an idea about booked flights, expected delivery times, etc so you'll have to do a bit of guesswork. If a box is going somewhere 24 hours away and you're shipping it at 3pm, it'll probably be inside a building during the coldest part of the night and sent out for delivery in the early AM in an unheated truck.

Also 24, 36, and 48 heat packs was meant to say hour. I was referencing heat duration, not quantity.
