Default Need help identifying this mbuna

    Hey all,
I'm hoping someone can tell me what kind of mbuna this guy is. I got him for free from a friend who is downsizing his stock in his tank. He was free and looks very nice, although he seems to be more aggressive than any other fish in tank. Maybe he's trying to assert him self as the tank boss, as I just put him in there last night.
Anyhow please help me figure what he is so I can do some research.

    Sorry, been inactive for awhile.

That appears to be a male Labidochromis sp. 'Mbamba'; common name Yellow-top Mbamba. Same genus as yellow labs.

You couldn't be more correct. It is a Yellow Top Mbamba.
