    Wow, it all looks wonderful. Hope you can find a red sedum. A little pop of red would really set the garden off.

    Thank you guys! I really love the succulents. I found some red sedum at the Nursery today- not alot, but some.

    What succulent species produces those fuschia-colored blooms?
    20 gal. high: planted; 5 white cloud minnows, 4 golden White Clouds, several RCS, 2 blue shrimp, 5 Amano shrimp, several snails; Azoo air. 65 gal: planted; 6 rosy barbs, 6 yellow glofish, 3 red glofish, 3 zebra danios, 5 white cloud minnows, 3 dojo loaches, 6 crimson spot rainbow fish, 12 large Amano Shrimp, several snails; AC110.

    I did spend quite a bit of time before I started reading, looking at pictures online. The "river-like" s-curve design of the echevaria's was inspired by a photo on Pintrest.
    The arrangement of the rock was inspired by succulent pocket gardens I found on Youtube. The fountain and rock at base was my husband's idea.

    Its amazing how much easier it is to take care of plants when you use natives or zone specific plants. These plants are not native, of course, but they are perfect to my area. There are so many plants I cant grow: coastal plants, shade plants, plants that need a wide seasonal temperature difference. I would love to grow delphinium, Angel-leaved Begonias, delicate Ferns, violas- but, they wilt here-even in shade.
