    A standard 29G is 30 X 12 X 18

    At any rate, filled with water it's going to weigh around 330 pounds (not counting substrate, deco, etc), so I certainly wouldn't use the stand you have

    All great suggestions. For my 33g breeder tanks, I use metal tank stands, I happen to get mine used for $15 or less, but they can hold tanks no problem, I actually have two stands and 4 tanks (on bottom and top tier). I had to take some rust paint to my 90g metal stand, but I paid only 20 dollars for the whole setup, so I'll deal with a little painting.

    Thank you everyone! I ended up posting an ad in local classifieds and have someone building one of the wooden ones for me this week (who actually knows what he's doing! lol). So I'll be getting that soon :)
