    What I understand about water soluble vitamins is that they will only actually lose the vitamins when the fluids used to soften are not also consumed which is why it can disrupt vitamin uptake in fish as even if the fluids are added to the tank with the food the fluids aren't necessarily consumed by the fish and rather are lost to the water column. If you leave the "gravy" or the water is completely absorbed into her food she's still getting all her nutrients.

    For example vitamin B is a water soluble vitamin, if I take a vitamin B supplement with a swig or even an entire bottle of water I'm not losing any nutritional value of the vitamin because I drank water with it... But if I were so soak the vitamin tablet in a glass of water and spoon the mush only to myself than I would lose much of the nutritional value that was in that supplement.

    That's exactly what I was thinking as well, i'm not feeding into water!
