    That is great!

Well last time I went, I left from work. It is only 3 hours from work and then 4 hours back, lol-save and hour! Good thing we are so used to driving and like the "scenery".

We will more than likely be making a 2-300 purchase so saving on shipping would be great. I know they used to also give you a discount for pickup, but I don't know if they still offer that. I know they have (I think) 15% off $200+ order which will help too.

They should be ready soon enough and stronger than ever.
I don't think I'll be going with the neons even after treatment. Being a little more on the sensitive side, I think being shipped to AA first probably was a bit stressful, resulting in the Ich. So I'd be uncomfortable having them shipped again to me and maybe getting stressed out all over again. I'll keep looking for something special, though, that I can fit in with current stock.

Just get more green neon's awesome little fish and you enjoy them. Another suggestion would be Ember tetra's.

I have thought about that for my 20g. But the ones I have now, along with the dwarf pencilfish, are constantly hiding in the back of the tank. I have no idea how many I have as I rarely see them anymore. They will dart out when I start to feed, but dart back in behind until I leave. (there's even one or maybe 2 kerri tetras left in here that are about 5yrs +) I had added the 12 male endlers to this tank to see if they would draw them out a bit, but that hasn't happened. The endlers are out front like puppies all the time, however, so at least there's some activity in there. There's also 4 cory duplicareus in this tank which also hide, although the youngest one that was born in the tank stays out longer at feeding time. The dwarf pencilfish in my 20g kitchen tank with the Vietnamese WCMM's are out all the time.

So, if I do increase the green neons - and maybe even the dwarf pencils - that still leaves me with a newly set up 5.5g. Ember tetras would be a good option for this tank and I've actually thought about them for a while, but had no good place for them. The rosy loach is another species I've considered.

Your green neons sound like they act like my gold tetras. I have 9 left in my 20g and they are in the java fern almost always. They hide from me too. I think it might be cuz they were wildcaught?

That could be, I never thought of that. And 9 is a decent number. I think that's what I started the green neons with. But not sure why the pencilfish in this tank act like the green neons, hiding all the time, and yet in my other tank they're out a lot with the WCMM. Maybe they're taking a cue from whichever tank mates they're stuck with. That's why I add the endlers to the first tank to see if I could get them out more but that didn't help.

I had a bunch of super blue kerri tetras in with the gold tetras for a little while. The kerri tetras are the complete opposite as the gold tetras as far as behaviour went, even pecking at my skin when I serviced the tank. The gold tetras continued to hide for 2 days after servicing lol. Now I'm down to one super blue kerri tetra and his behavior changed completely. He started swimming with and just like the gold tetras. The kerri tetras used to swim up top, and eat while still staying up top. The gold tetras zip up and down snatching pellets and eat in the java fern. My last kerri tetra is eating just like the gold tetras now. I noticed that when I had just one left and wanted to share that observation for a while. I find it interesting. I bet he thinks for sure he is a gold tetra since he can't see himself and the others are gone.
