That's pretty soft water for the Central American fish that you have (e.g. melanurus, argentea) and even the green terror , which exist long term in no lower than 8 degrees GH. Keep an eye on their health. If hard water fish stay in soft water for months, their health will decline due to the lower tds value that they need to thrive.
I know, I have added around 15 pounds of calcium carbonate rock to my sump on top of dosing chemically for gh and kh. The issue is my gh and kh won't maintain; they lower in concentration daily. I'll lose 5° in as little as three days. It's frustrating and inexplicable.
