Default Who would like a limerick game?

If Admin and/or mods approve, how about I start the first line of a limerick, then members can add to it. For those who don't know how a limerick is styled, it goes like this:

There once was a cranky young lad
who always would walk around, mad --
    he grumbled a lot,
    too cold, or too hot,
til he lost all the friends that he had.

    That's the style.

As soon as I get the okay, I shall start the first line, and the limerick can continue in that style indefinitely, unless someone decides to end it by composing the very last line (nobody contributes anything more).

Please keep the limerick family-friendly and, hopefully, a little bit funny.

    What say you?

I got the okay from a mod. Below, I have copied the limerick I posted at the beginning of this thread, so you folks can see the style that limericks are written in. I now invite you to build on this, using your own imagination, humor and creativity. The only rules are that you must maintain that style, and keep your stanzas family friendly. It should be interesting to see what directions it goes in. Good luck, and have fun!
