Exclamation Betta fish turning white! Help!

    1 Not allowed!
I have a red/pink crowntail betta and of recently I noticed he has a white spot on his fin and looks pale/white near the bottom of his mouth. I have no idea what this could be, any suggestions/help would be appreciated!

About the tank: I have him set up in a 10-gallon tank, with a sponge filter and a heater. Temperature is safe and remains the same. The pH levels are safe. I do 100% water changes every week. I did one just yesterday. Its a planted tank and I use API's Leaf Zone as dosage recommends as well as root tabs in the sand. He eats well and is pretty active, he hides in his ornaments and swims around. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong here :(

    Thank you in advanceIMG_20180601_233722 (1).jpgIMG_20180602_004257 (1).jpgIMG_20180601_233756 (1).jpg!

    Hey there,

Loverly little chap you have there.

Any particlure reason why your doing 100% water changes??
A 15-20% would be more than enough for what you have.

As for any issues honetly I can't see any in the images.
are you able to test your water for,

Good questions above, a few more:

How long has the tank been set up?...did you cycle the tank before adding the betta?

What water conditioner do you use?...what test kit?

I can see a lighter pigmentation under the chin, and I'm not a betta keeper, but it looks like normal coloration to me. I will see little scar tissue fin marks on occasion, they will heal on their own.
