So my lone survivor super blue kerri tetra kicked the bucket last week. He was fine the day before and totally missing the next. I was even commenting on how active and social he is compared to the gold tetras the day before he went missing. Never found the body like all the others. I think I have a good cleanup pleco in there.

The eight gold tetras are still going strong. And the weird thing is they seem to come out more readily to feed now......

Anyway just shows how poor the super blue kerri tetras' genetics were. Never kept such an unhealthy tetra species. That puts a damper on rare fish for me.

All good everyone :) It is what it is. Just surprises me how terrible those SB kerrri tetras were that's all.

If anything the gold tetras are out more I think that lone tetra was boss and a bit of a jerk. Possibly because he knew he was alone and was more aggressive as a result. I hate to say it, but the tank is actually nicer without him. And no more unhealthy fish.

Your observation (him being a jerk and why that was likely so) is astute. I'm certain you are right.
