Probably my best shot ever of the CPDs and managed to get great examples of male and female! She's a bit blurry, and he's not my most colored up male but I thought I'd share. Definitely fish that do better the more you put together.

That's a great shot of the CPD's, those fish never sit still and are so tiny...even more remarkable that you got a male and a female in the same shot!

Your congos have me drooling again

I think tonight I will start working on trimming this bad boy down to size! I really need to get another spawn of CPDs started but also think I'll never see fry and struggle to get the adults back out if I don't trim it down first lol

Thought I'd share a before photo and if I get it done tonight maybe an after the trim shot will come. It's a 10 gallon tank and almost completely stuffed full of Christmas moss. I'm going to pull several of the crypts for the 55 as well I think. Wouldn't want to pull them all and upset the tank too much.

Do you have a LFS that will buy that moss from you? I have a 5g that often looks like that and my LFS is always looking for moss. I usually get about $10 for a quart size baggie. Brought in 2 last time - one Christmas moss and one subwassertang - and got $20 worth of frozen foods. Unfortunately I think I trimmed a little too much that time as it's been slower to return to its glory.

I don't :( but I'm tossing it in a pitcher and probably in a bucket to get the shrimp out a few days. I'm sure my lfs would take it, but I surely wouldn't get any return out of it.

Alright, disclosure now... I drank too many beers and already appriviate autocorrect.... So here's it. Tank is done its 330 in the morning and I may not be as proud when I wake up but for now I think it's great.

Way more stuff to trim than I thought and I am pretty sure I hate Riccia lol
I had a piece I hardly trimmed trimmed as I realized I was not leaving a place to hide eggs for CPDs to spawn. But otherwise it was a wack job godfather style. I left no survivors. I decided not to dump buckets tonight I might have shrimps to save that I don't see yet.

I think I killed 10,000 pest sneails and I had surprise plants. The crypt I was sure was drown by moss that sprouted on my dw is still there! Amazing probably 4-5" of moss growth. I have anubias that I don't remember putting in the tank other than one large piece I moved back out a while back. I ended up pulling all my crypts and dropped them. In a betta tank till I it them in the 55 I do not think I should do that in my current state. I also have a penny wort type plant I have no idea where it came from my sister had some and I just added it to a back tanks but I do not know how it h got here.

I'm sure I'll fine tune later but for now this is it. It worked out well last time to hob job it, maybe I'll leave be lol we will see
