My tanks are heavily planted with low bioload, should I be adding airstones to my tanks? Usually the filter output does not disturb the water line, but will circulate the surface. I've never had a suffocated fish, but I worry I might be playing with fire.

    Excuse the hijack pls luvnmyfinnyfriends

Low bioload is fine with a heavily planted tank. Suffocation occurs were the bioload is too high and the amount of plants is too high.

I have been watching this aquarium very closely today as I have had more time. I am observing another Angel fish that is relentlessly chasing the male of the pair and biting at him.

I once had a Platty that killed 9 other tank mates before I caught on to it being the culprit.

Not sure what to do if this now aggressive Angel is a killer.
125 gallon FW community, 38 gallon FW community, 10 gallon FW Mollies, 10 gallon isolation, 2.6 gallon Betta, 1.5 gallon FW shrimp, small garden pond with 3 Comet goldfish and on Koi.
