How to tell if a Gourami is male or female
0
I have two Gouramis, one Red and Blue Dwarf Gourami and a Honey Gorami. I was wondering how can you tell if they are male or female?

For the Honeys coloration is good indicator. Males are yellowish-or orange, depending on if its s "red" honey. Females are a brownish/silver color-usually with some banding, pretty boring which is why they can be hard to find for sale.
Good site for fish info with some nice pics:

For the dwarfs, 99.9% sure they are males simply because no one sells females, they aren't wanted in the everyday fish trade.
