Any reason to treat the entire tank with meds, at this time?...or wait and watch?

In the process of gradually lowering the temperature on the tank back down to about 76 degrees. Hope I don't end up with to much fry by doing this, I know my platies may go into the breeding process.

78F is good for the fish you have....I'm surprised you haven't had platy fry yet, they breed easily and prolifically, 99% of the time

BUT, some of the other fish may have found the fry to be quite tasty.

had the temp in the lower 80's to kill off the bad germs, now I am gradually decreasing back to normal ranges. Did some further investigation into the sexing of the platies, and I now believe that I have two female's in the tank.

Sometimes I feel like they know I am trying to take a picture of them, and they swim away as soon as I hit the button to take their pic.

Are you sure? I have a hard time telling the males and females apart. Also is it possible that the gold platy my be pregnant?

I kind hope that she is, I like watching for little babies in the tank. It is heavily planted so they will have plenty of places to hide when they are born.
