    Question Fish Behavior, Your Opinion?

    0 Not allowed!
In my freshwater aquarium I have 3 platies and have a question on whether I should be concerned about their behavior. Just for reference, I have the lights on a timer, which come on from 10AM to 10PM each day (if that is to long I will change it up.) I work during the day, so I cant speak on 10-5/6 but when I get home, the first thing I do is feed the fish and I feel like they know because all of the fish, including the 3 platies all come to the surface of the tank. The Platies will eat just fine, then they all swim around normal (chasing each other and swimming in and out of the decorations) for about 2 hours or so, then I always notice 2 of the 3 platies migrate to one spot of the tank and kind of just hang out, they do not move much......... Should I be worried that they are sick? I ask because when they are active, they seem perfectly normal but then just migrate to their one spot in the tank.

    Thanks

Good questions. More information is needed to get a clearer picture.

Are the two platy female? What about the third?
When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

Livebearers are easy. Here is a link to a picture so you can tell.

Also let us know about the gender of the 3 Mollies. (They are livebearers, too so the method that mommy1 provided is helpful for all 6)
