Default Pseudorinelepis sp. L095 "Red-Cheeked Pincone Pleco"

I have been looking for this Pleco for a long time and TUIC has brought it in.
It is killing me... it is so expensive.
It also can get quite large--- 18 inches.
A 180 gallon would probably be too small :(

Look at what an amazing specimen this pleco is:

Wow, pleco buddies, you don't see that too often. They are certainly impressive looking plecos, too bad they require such a large tank. How big are they at the LFS?

I wonder how quick they'd grow? I've never kept large fish like that one, so don't go my opinion, but you would think a 180g would be large enough for a while before you'd have to rehome?

Do you mean get a larger tank? I hope you do because I could never give it away after growing it out. I become very attached to my fish. maybe in 5-7 years it would give me a valid excuse to get a 220 gallon :)
Dont tell my husband I said that :O

A 220g is only taller than a 180g isn't it? 72x24x30". It will do fine in a 180g. Some owners have theirs in a 300, and the width of that is typically still 24". Jeff has been getting those in every year for the last 3 years or so.

Yea...I was actually thinking about what I wrote here, I wouldn't be able to give up those beautiful fish either, especially if I grew them out large. Well, hopefully 180g will be ok for them!
