When did you get the bolivian rams? How are they with the Geos? Tank looks wonderful both ways! You are bold to able to move scape like that! Did you remove the fish? That's actually petty amazing cuz I know the work that goes into it.

The Bolivian rams I got for my 30 gallon tank when I moved my corydoras out of the 30 gallon and to the 180 gallon.
I just have 2 pairs.
I then moved these pairs to the 180 when I redid the 30g.
The Bolivian Rams are actually doing great in here as the rescape provides lots of nooks, crannies, and caves for them to go in and out of. The geophagus ignore them and kind of nose them out of the way when they are eating. There is no aggression, but annoyance ( just like they do with the corydoras as well).
The corydoras are like bloodhounds with nose to ground, oblivious of their surroundings, and the Rams are like terriers, their bravery doesn't match their size. --lol!
The aggression between the geophagus sveni is ramping up a bit. I have noticed one pair often guarding the exposed sand area and chasing all the other geophagus away ( neambi's as well. ) I think they are a pair and will breed soon. Not sure what will happen then.
Edit: I am happy with the res cape but something bothers me about it aesthetically, I will continue to work on it.

Next week am getting some tannin products from Tannin Aquatics to add to this tank. I think with the added tannin tinting water and leaf litter will get a more authentic "bio-tope-ish" look overall.
Here are the two product pkgs will be mixing.

Here are the before pictures, will do the after sometime next week. The background is no longer making me happy- but, I dont want black. Im wondering want a deep or golden brown might look like. Then, the problem of finding something like that.

Neither one of the links work for me :(
It redirects/opens a new link to TA, but a "page not found" error

Well done, the tank is beautiful. Keep up the good work.
Think with logic and rationality more than emotion. Act with moderation and consideration. Contemplate ideals and realistic goals and weigh out possibilities and options. Temper not with personal delusions or false hope but learn to accept and move on.
