    Default 180 Gallon Aquarium Build

    4 Not allowed!
I thought I would document my tank build that I am in the process of doing...
    Here are some details:

    Tank and equipment:
    180 Gallon tank with black stand (72" x 24" x 25")
    2 x Fluvel FX6 filters
    2 x Cobalt Neo-therm Heaters
    1 x Eheim 400 air pump.

    Lighting:
LICAH AQUARIUM PLANT LED LIGHT LDP-1800

    Substrate and decor:
Caribsea Instant Aquarium Crystal River sand
Manzanita branches--- With the branches I want to replicate the look from this aquascaping link ( You need to scroll down a bit to see the tank ).
    http://www.aquascapingworld.com/thre...-trouble.4279/
    River rock and stones
    Plants (maybe, but very little).

    Fish:
7 geophagus ( wilds) juveniles ( depending on availability--- either argyrostictus, mirablis, sveni ). Ordered from either Jeff Rapps or Wetspot.
    40 Hyphessobrycon columbianus ( " Columbian Tetra").
20-30 Corydoras (Brochis multiradiatus, c.Duplicareus, or c. "New Panda") Wetspot
1 hemiancistrus subviridis ( "Green Phantom Pleco" ) L200. Wetspot.

here are some pictures of the manzanita and rock that I am considering using.

Thank you! I thought they were nice also...
Hopefully I can replicate ( or get close, anyways) with these wood pieces the aquas-cape design that I linked to. It is amazing!!

Good choice on the Columbian's, they are a beautiful tetra that get big enough to hold their own with Cichlids ;-)

Looking forward to seeing them in a big group.

I think the columbians will look great in this set-up.
I was debating between lemons, columbians, diamonds, and buenos aires tetras... but decided on the columbians.
But, as far as tetras, these four were really the only options I could think of in a tank with Geo's... could you think of any others?

Bleeding hearts (hyphessobrycon erythrostigma) get about 3 inches at max and have very intense color and entertaining sparing behaviors they are also naturally found among branches of wood
