    Default Hello!

Hi! Just joined and thought I would tell a little about myself.
Have been into fish -keeping for 27 years and am just as fascinated by fish behavior ( if not more) than the day I started. ;)

Right now I have three tanks:
1- 60 gallon tank with discus with rummy- nose tetras ( have had a discus tank running for 15 years).

1- 30 gallon featuring a rare tetra called Imperial Tetra Hyphessobrycon sp. "Peru" ( I love tetras and have in the last year become interested in wild and rare varieties). I am hoping to breed these tetras once they get out of the juvenile stage. Also, in this tank have Brochis splendens "Emerald Green Cory."

180 gallon tank ( this tank is in the works and will be set up in next few weeks). This set-up will be geophagus sp. ( either mirabilis, Argyrostictus, or sveni). I want wilds but it will all depend on whats available from Jeff Rapps or Wetspot.
Also, want to add a huge school ( about 60) of a larger tetra ( deep-bodied) but not qwuite sure which. Most likely a hyphessobrycon sp., but if there are experts in stocking on this forum- maybe you can help me out on choosing a good tetra to add to this tank!
Oh! I will also add a pleco, most likely L-200 ( the "Green Phantom Pleco")

    Thanks for reading! :)

    Welcome to the Community!

Be sure to set up a journal for your new tank. There are a bunch of us who love following along and watching as a tank evolves. :)
