Default Help i think my oscar is in trouble

    0 Not allowed!
So my oscar has a swollen stomach. i don't believe its any of the usual suspects that will cause this however i do believe he got this from swallowing some small rocks. but not knowing for sure i was thinking he might be a just little unregular and was told that peas would help him feel a little better so after a day or two I noticed he was trying poop something out and by the look[[[but was obvious it wasnt coming out as i got a better look to my no surprise he was trying to poop out a rock and by the looks of things it wasn't coming out anytime soon.
and i just dont know what to do next

put him in an epsom salt bath for 30 minutes, about 1 tablespoon per gallon.

If that doesn't work you can massage from the stomach area to the anus. There are you tube videos about squeezing sperm or eggs out of koi.

I really hope this works for you, I am sorry your fish and you are dealing with this. Its one reason why they say to not use gravel with goldfish-I never imagined Oscars would swallow rocks too.
