I've got several strains overhere, both wild and fancy strains. I don't like all strains though but that's a matter of personal preference of course. But with all the hybridizations, a lot of new hybrid strains are available these days. But don't forget that also from wildcaught ones, next generations will show natural mutations and can be linebred into a fancy strain as well. Endlers are just like guppies very sensitive to mutations. And it will show up in captivity for sure at one point.
I'm keeping and breeding endlers ever since 2004. Wilguppies, wildtype guppies and fancy guppies already from the early 1970's. So, also with guppies when no other bloodline has been added, mutations still occur.

After research and seeing live ones, you can see the difference. They are smaller than their guppy cousins and like their temperatures a little higher than them.

Here's a video of the original strain discovered by Franklyn F. Bond in 1937, and rediscovered by Dr. John Endler in 1975.

Since I'm not an expert by any means, having just gotten interested in them recently, here are some good sources.

I don't think you may have noticed it but I see limegreen endlers in this video. The originals by Bond were black bars. So, this can't be right.
If limegreens are not culled, more orange or red will appear which makes them look a bit more like black bars. And I do see certain males in this vid which are like that as well.

That's why I like people to make comments that know what they are talking about, not being an expert on them as I said, I just go by what the people put on their you tube titles, that's what came up when I googled; "original Laguna de los Patos endlers" ;-)

Wild guppies to compare, the endlers even in their original form are much more colorful IMO, It's hard to believe I kept these in gallon fish bowels at one time, no heater, no filter

Funny that you've used this video from Youtube. For I know the owner of www.endlers.be personally. She's bought certain livebearers from (among them some endler varieties) me. She lives in Belgium.
I do have this N-class variety overhere and also the blonde hybrid version of the blue star.
