I hope they will listen to reason and allow it to be rehomed to an appropriately sized home.

OK, based on what my LFS can get, and your suggestions, and they AQadvisor Oracle, here's what I'm thinking. My appointment with the client got put off until Friday, so of course we'll have to see what she wants.

    6 Boesemani Rainbow
    6 Goyder River Trifasciata Rainbow
6 New Guinea Red Rainbow (G. Incisus)

6 Red Laser Neon Rainbow Wapoga (similar to dwarf neon)
    OR
6 Yellow Lake Teberi Rainbow (M. Herbertaxelrodi)

    10 Gold Barbs

    10 Emerald Cory (Brochis spendens)
    OR
    10 Zebra Loaches (Botia striata)

    50 Amano Shrimp

Might nix the gold barbs for slightly bigger schools of rainbows, but they seem to be real crowd-pleasers...

Those gold barbs are great, I know mine got huge and were so peaceful. A group of 10 of them is perfect.

Well you said you wanted variety...........but I like the stocking, the clients will enjoy it for sure ;-)

    OK, further developments.

The tank is actually a 150g.
Current light: 2 36" twin tube 63w fluorescent. I've already OKed new bulbs for it. Should be plenty of light, I think.
Current heater: Unknown brand, big one, on a digital controller. It will do for now.
Current Filter: Eheim Professional 3! That is one serious filter, and again, should be more than plenty.

They will give me a little bit of counter space to set up a 10g qt/hospital tank.
They're cool with the above stocking, but the dentist might really want to keep the pleco. Fingers crossed, please. If she does, we'll work around it.
They have a serpent for water changes!
The office manager didn't even bat an eye at the cost of setting this thing up. I think we're a go!

So...black sand, black backdrop, lots of driftwood, moderately planted. I found some really cool outcrops of black granite in the creek yesterday that should look really cool with black diamond sand.

All for now. Stay tuned. Tom

Well is it a male and female or?? Also idk if they would spawn with that much going on around them but I could be wrong lol they are nice to look at but so is a massive school of rainbows I'm sure you could see how it goes and re-home them potentially to a tank at home haha

if you have to keep the common pleco, you will have to remove all the bottom inhabitants that you planned. Otherwise, this will become a high maintenance tank due to huge bioload.
