Default Sold my last gold molly

Last evening I've sold my last female gold molly. She was the only one left from a group of 6. All others were taken home by a friend of mine. he didn't wanna have this one for she was really skinny at that time. I just let her swim with a colony of green swordtails (xiphophorus alvarezi → wildstrain). But she grew up being a beautiful female specimen. But I just didn't know what to do with her. For I didn't wanna keep fancy mollies anymore. So, I've put out an ad on the internet. And a man mailed me that he was looking for a female gold molly for he had just one male in his tank. When he came at my door, it turned out to be an old classmate of mine. And I do remember that he grew up with fishtanks as well. Nice to meet up with someone who I haven't seen for years. And who I share the same hobby with.

This female molly has found a real good place to swim around.

I'm not huge on live bearer fish but I do like her colors! Glad she found a great place to call home and brought you together with an old acquaintance. Lucky fish any way you split that hair!

What a beautiful girl she grew up to be!

I'm so happy for you that you were able to re-connect with an old friend and find your fish a good home, all in one shot. You're right, she will live happily under the experienced care of your old friend, and pass along her beauty to mix with that of his male.

    She sure is...
I've showed the other friend of mine who took those other 5 home this picture. And now he regrets not taken her home as well.
