Which is better to use while cycling my tank (and in the future); SeaChem Prime or API Stress Coat? I have used Stress Coat in the past. Thanks

Yeah prime is better it can also turn regular ammonia to ammonium so it's not as harmful to fish for 24 hours.

Prime is da best especially if your doing fish in cycle it's only dechlorinator that also detoxifies ammonia, nitrates for up to 48hours but it still remains biologically available for nitrfying bacteria to consult and grow.

Vote for Prime too, along with all of the reasons above-its super concentrated and will last a very long time.

At first glance Prime appears to be expensive. Until you read the dosing directions on the competitor's products. Prime really is considerably more economical.

If you already have stress coat, you can keep using it during the fishless cycle.

Agreed, but after the SC is gone I would use Prime from now on.
