    Question Guppies in a 5-gallon?

    0 Not allowed!
I've been reading up on what my options are and since my betta died, I'm a little apprehensive to get another one since I'm really just begging to get the hang of things. Some of what I read claims that guppies are a good begginger fish. But I know there is a lot of debate over whether a five gallon is even suitable for one fish, but at the moment it what I'm working with.

So my question is, assuming that I do regular water changes (either weekly or bi-weekly), can I keep 3 guppies in my five-gallon tank?
Has anyone had success with this? Any tips? Thanks!

P.S. Happy Easter for those of you who celebrate!

You could, but i'd say nothing smaller than a 10g is sutible for guppies, you could however try some endler's, they are like small guppies.

I have 3 guppies and a Betta in Spec V's and they're doing great. Albeit the Spec V's are longer than most 5gal tanks.

Yes, you could keep 3 MALE guppies in a properly cycled 5.5G tank

Guppies are livebearers = breed like crazy, so make sure you indeed have only males to start
