    Also tasty. Since they endlessly spawned. And endless supply of fry to the point the lfs's did not want them.

    I love Platys too. So varied, with interesting colorations. and the ones I've had have always been sweet, inquisitive fish.

    Wait, you ate your fish?

    I have often thought about keeping guppies in the angelfish tank, free live food! (For the angels)

    Agreed, the ones I had were mickey mouse platys, they were so colourful and didn't even understand fish aggression.

    Certainly did. Kept the breeding group of severums. Just made sure to stop them breeding.

    Raised up the young to a decent size like the parents. Humanely killed them. Filleted and served up.

    Normally I would not do it. But at that stage no one wanted them. Could not ship them up north or around nz. No one wanted severums back then. That and I did not have enough space for them.
