There are many variants of the whiptail since that's the common name. Make sure that you do not get the one that gets over 8" in total length, including streamers.

I read that article and was wondering about maybe keeping two.

The semi-local pet store has a variety that gets about 4.5 inches.

If I'm not mistaken someone here had them, and they tended to hide alot

From what I've been reading, that might have something to do with the brightness of the light

Think Laura Grond got a bunch of these and loves them, but I don't know which variety. She says they are always out and about for her. Miss her here, but I will see her Friday at the meeting. Since I am home I will actually try to bring some fish for their fish bowl. Fortunately for me the fish this month are Gourami, plecos or barbs. I want to try to get the nuptial color male gourami (Don Drapper) and one of my females, also would love to take Mr. Man as a cut contrast, taking a pearl is out of the question-too darn shy. I would love to take ghost too-but he would have a heart attack, the .

    ...sorry there is that tangent!
75g- Plecos, Rainbowfish, Edlers, Espei, Gouramis, Cory, Loaches, Amano, and misc.
Two 5.5g- Shrimp tanks; one with 4 chili rasbora & Bloody Mary and second with Blue Dream shrimp
5.5g- Rescue female betta Lucky Star
20L- Rescue betta Tony Stark and pygmy corys
20L- Pygmy cory, 2 vampire/rock shrimp, ember tetras and female guppies

    75g:
    Nat's 20L Tanks
    5.5 G Shrimp Tanks

I have a couple, not sure which species exactly. Very mellow fish, never bother or seem to be noticed by other fish. Had one that lived for about 12 years back in the day, the current 2 aren't that old but may yet get there.

    ^^^^Please click the eggs/dragons, thanks...
