Hi everyone!, figured this is the best place to get opinions from all sorts of people. experienced or not. So I have 3 south American cichlids and theyre jack Dempsey, I believe its a Red Parrot? and a Rainbow something. haah sorry when I bought it, I fell in love when I first saw it and didn't even care what it was as long as it was south American. but anyways, ive had the jack and red parrot for 3, 4 years. and the rainbow one for about 2 or 3 years. I moved out of my parents house pass November and my parents been feeding them since. theyre in a 40 gallon tank and now wheni went back to visit, theyre huge! haha what the hell have my parents been feeding them!?!? lol so now i'm about to buy this acrylic fish tank which is 6ft long. I figured long tanks are better suit for them than tall tanks. (let me know if i'm wrong) 72" x 9" x 20" acrylic tank with overflow box :$150. that's what im getting. its cheap even thought im not going to mess with the overflow box, just going to block it off and use the tank itself while getting all the other part separately. ill be posting pictures once I get a chance so y ou guys have a good idea what were working with here. I'm going to need suggestions on what I should put in the tank as far as grass goes, for them to hide in, pots, rocks? I don't know what's best for them. any ideas, any tips, any advices are more than welcome! thank you very much! you guys will see all the progress as I put everything together
