    I do love the cories I have in my 38 gallon. They're fun to watch, especially when they're sitting there at the bottom and then quickly dart to the surface, and back down.

    I have corys in 3 of my tanks, if the 5.5G were appropriate for them they'd be in there, too...love those guys

    The semi-local pet store has a decent selection of cories, not just your typical albinos

    I always loved the orange laser cory...but my water is too warm for them to be comfortable.

    But there are tons of awesome little cory types

    If you're looking for cichlids, you could try some of the shell-dwelling cichlids like Neolamprologus and Lamprologus. They need hard water, so they would go well with your rainbowfish
