Can anyone help identify what this is on our gold skirt tetra? It has not had any other symptoms, but now it is acting aggressively. 20170307_180237.jpg20170307_180237.jpg

That is very odd looking...its hard to tell what it is. I am guessing either prolapse, tumor or parasite. Did it just appear?

It's not brand new, but it recently has changed, becoming reddened. The fish seemed a little agitated yesterday too, but prior to that, it didn't seem to bother it any.

It looks just like a bubble. My daughter said she could not find anything that looked like it among all the fish diseases.

It actually was present before our mass deaths. And so far it's been over 2 weeks since we have suffered any further losses from the contamination issue so we are very grateful that's finally over. Now we want to optimize our aquarium's health.

That's what Carl thinks it might be on his EA forum, too. What can be done for this, anything?
