Bringing this back cause quick question :P

Do I need to have everything in my tank set up before I can start a fishless cycle?

I need to buy a heater and the lightbulbs for my lid before I can put fish in it obviously; but could I start the cycle without those things; as they are all I have left to buy?

I was going to go pick up ammonia today, and it would be sweet if I could get the cycle started today too!

Warmer water allows the BB colony to grow a bit faster, I would wait until I had a heater, you want the water temp around 82F
