    the orinoco river is not quiet, and as long as there are no predators around, they wiill have little to no stress in that tank.

    Very nice - love those. Hope they do well for you. I know my LFS had problems at one time maintaining the altums when they got some in. Not sure if they've had them since.

    I'm hoping the transitioning period from the wild water they were in into tap water was accomplished already buy the seller. He's had them since July. Now I will transition them to softened water.

    Latest video after a water change. I lost the largest one, the water transitioning was too much of a shock for it. I'm down to ten of them and these little fellas I've had for three days now and are very frisky and robust.

    Sorry for the loss. Wow, though, those are beauties. Are they as fussy as I've read? I've heard they're comparable to discus in their requirements of food, water quality, etc. Definitely an order of prettiness over scalares, though. Altums' markings are just beautiful, with that stripe-within-a-stripe pattern. Thanks for sharing them.
