My Bolivian ram seems to not get any food, my harlequins are aggressive feeders and barely any food gets to the bottom, how should I beat go about feeding my ram?

Try spreading the food all over the tank water surface, with the filter(s) running, and add a sinking pellet or two every time you feed

Distract the harleys on one end of the tank, add a bit more to the other end

This is what I do. I feed the rest of the fish as usual. I watch to make sure my rams come up/out to eat. Most of the time they will, they've learned to be bolder with tetras in the tank. If for some reason they don't come out to grab their share of pellets, I do what Slaphppy suggested and distract the other fish on one side of the tank, then I find her (usually it's my female ram) and drop a few pellets below the water's surface so that they fall right in front of her face. She always takes advantage.

You could also try using a turkey baster (unused) and place any type of food in a glass, add a little tank water and suck it all up with the baster. Then, squirt (empty) the baster underwater right in front of your ram's face. I use this method to feed small fry when they are in with the parents.

Ok have you tried feeding in multiple spots? That's usually what I do. Maybe use a combination of floating food for harlequins and sinking for the rams.

You really need to diversify your foods, just like us humans, they get bored with the same thing over and over again, and their diet needs to be varied for optimum health.

The NLS pellets are fine, but your fish need other foods.

What is the tank size, how many fish are in it, and what types of fish?
