Default How about having a "Ridiculous Humor" category?

I think it would be fun to have a special category for threads from members who like to indulge in ridiculous (but harmless) humor. Like silly fish threads or threads with deliberately inane "suggestions" that are never intended to be taken seriously. Clean jokes can be posted there, silly limericks, funny one- or two-liners, etc.

Here's a starter, as an example:

There once was a Betta named Sam
Who decided to build his own dam.
    He clogged up his filter,
    it went out of kilter,
Now Sam has created a jam.

    Or, how about this:

How can one turn a nine-foot catfish into a nine-inch flat fish? By cramming him into a nine-gallon tank.

Then, invite other members to complete the riddle with their own nutty answers.

The cornier, the better, I'd say ... And a great way to blow off steam after a stressful day.

Oh my goodness that poor catfish! This is hilarious! I like this idea as long as no one takes the jokes as serious advice haha

I once had a minnow named Maude,
that I thought looked rather odd --
When I began to detect the
    new fish was a tetra,
my minnow, I found, was a fraud!

EVERYBODY is creative in some way or other. Your little nonsense verse shows you, too, have a sense of humor. And if a formal category is set up for ridiculous humor, I think you'll find it a lot of fun.

There once was a tetra named Sam,
who really could race when he swam --
    he outraced his whole school,
    but died like a fool
when into the glass he did slam!

Yesterday at work, a fabric softener sheet fell out of my pants.

I HAD noticed a curious itch beforehand.

    That's all I got, sorry.
