Bamboo and Lotus ??
I keep reading that bamboo rots in tanks belong long. Would it work if it was tall enough so some of the leaves are emmersed or would it continue to rot having the roots in water?
I have a nice bamboo growing and would like to use it but don't want to wreck it.
Also where in heck do you find red lotus? Can't find it anywhere.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

i would think that the bamboo should be fine because in a container there is always water on it...so i don't see the difference....maybe because the stem is in the water????
Also...i see the lotus at my Petsmart all of the time. If you have a petsmart by you.

My bamboo is currently dying... But I think that has more to do with the poor lighting in my aquarium. I just can't afford a new fixture yet, but I'm saving up!!!
