Default Thoughts on upgrading my fancy goldfish tanks?

I currently have 2 goldfish tanks in my house (one 55 gallon with 3 orandas and one 29 with 2 telescope eyes). I was thinking about setting up my old swimming pool not sure about the diameters but it holds 560 gallons. If I bought the right filtration pumps do you thing some goldies would do well in there? I do enjoy my indoor tanks but I want the fish to feel comfortable as possible. I live in louisiana so I'm not worried about it freezing during the winter but I will add heaters if needed. Thanks for your input!

Yeah these should be fine with the right filtration as long as the water doesn't freeze completely. At 50F, they will start to exhibit a catatonic state.

Main danger would be from predators, at least make sure the fish have good cover to escape raccoons and fish-eating birds. Otherwise, they usually do much better in an outdoor pond than indoor tanks.

Thanks for the input! I think I'll go through with the plan. The pool is pretty deep so they can swim down if something tries to get at them but I will put bird netting and fencing around the pool for extra protection. I'll miss the little guys in my house but they'll be happier out there
