Just thought I'd post a few shots of the malabaricus for you guys to see how much he has grown!!!

I purchased him approx 6 months ago this fish has a terrifying attitude which makes maintenance challenging!!(He WILL bite you if you get into the tank)of course the appetite matches the attitude as this fish has no problem polishing off 20 goldfish per day!

Maybe you could do a video of him eating?

I use to feed my Wolf fish gold fish as well but switched to Hikari massivore cichlid pellets and frozen silver sides. Much more protein and you don't have to worry about parasites coming from live food.
    220g monster fish tank.
    125g planted wild altum tank
    55g kigoma frontosa tank.
    20g quarantine tank.

I will make sure to record a good feeding and post it for you guys!! I have been thinking about taking him off of live food. I currently have a very good source for feeders that my good friend hooks me up with but there is always chance for illness and disease like you stated. Switching him off those luscious goldfish and Mollys may prove to be challenging haha.

Mine took to them right away. My poly loves them as well. They say one pellet has as much protein as almost 2 gold fish. Mine fattened up quick on the pellets.

not only can goldfish introduce parasites or disease, too much consumption of goldfish can also cause neurological disorders since they contain thiaminase, which prevent the uptake of thiamine or vitamin b1.

How big is the tank? Also, I would agree to stop feeding goldfishes.
Think with logic and rationality more than emotion. Act with moderation and consideration. Contemplate ideals and realistic goals and weigh out possibilities and options. Temper not with personal delusions or false hope but learn to accept and move on.
