How long should i wait???

well i am going to be getting 3-4 oto cats for my 10g tank (3 or 4 of them) and i don't know when i should go out and but them.

The tank has been going for about 3 weeks now and is about 1/2 - 3/4 the way being done planted.

When do you think i should get them??

there isn't much (if any) algae on the tank.

wait until you get a bit for them to graze on

ok...thats what i figured....so probably about....another month or so???? or until the algae starts to grow good???

and i will buy:
- veggie rounds
- zuchinni
for them.

what else should i buy for them to eat???

some will take algae wafers

algae wafers i would imagine...they can be difficult to supplement. I would definatley wait to get them until you see if you have a consistent algae supply.

ok....also is there stuff on the plants that they will eat???? like natural stuff??? cause in pics of them i always see them sitting on plants so i thought...maybe they are eating something on the plant....lol....true??? or not true???
