None of the scales are raised as if he had dropsy, but they still have fallen off. His appetite is still 10/10 and he is moving around decently considering how sick he appears. He does, however, sleep more often and clamp his tail a bit. Should I continue Maracyn II or order another med online?
Maracyn 2 does not work very well with your ph of 7.5. Seachem Kanaplex is the best one for you water ph.

I just ordered Kordon methylene blue AND Seachem Kanaplex off of Amazom. Even if I don't need both, I'd feel better having them both on hand. I'll use kanaplex first since it won't stain anything and if it doesn't work I'll have a backup. The package should arrive Tuesday, so I'll continue Maracyn II until then and the treatment should be finished by then. Anyway, my betta eats about 5 tiny pellets per meal. How can I dose the kanaplex with such a small food amount? Also, would it be smart to give him a bath dip in the blue stuff and feed him kanaplex food? Or just one med at a time?

kanaplex is readily absorbed through the skin. He doesn't have to eat it.

It's a good sign that your betta continues to eat.

You can do the dip in a bucket, and still have the dose of kanaplex in the tank.

Use methylene blue in an area like tile since it will stain anything it touches even your fingers.

For the dip, use 1 ml per gallon for 30 minutes. You can use old tank water that has not been conditioned with Prime in the 30 minutes prior to using it as a bath. Throw the bath water out when the bath is done. Do the bath for about 7 days. He might show blue staining on his body.

Thank you for the help and advice! I'll start the treatments as soon as the medications arrive.

Thanks Boundava! He's literally lost almost all of the scales on his head and is nearly completely blind, but is still full of energy and eating everything, so I'm hopeful it will all work out :)

Hi again. I've finished giving the 3 doses of kanaplex as directed on the box. He got 100% WC every other day and blue baths on those days. On alternating days, he got spot cleaning (with a turkey baster) so I wouldn't remove the kanaplex since doses were every other day. I also ended up adding some aquarium salt to the tank starting on Tuesday. However, he hasn't improved at all. Eyes are still foggy, has stringy poops, and still skinny, of course. He is also getting a little more lethargic than before (although still active if someone is looking at him). And he still eats like a pig. The box of kanaplex says to give a maximum of 3 doses.. What should I do to keep treating him?

I have Maracyn II, Kanaplez, Methylene blue, Aquarium Salt, Kordan Ich Attack. I can also order more stuff if I need it...

I'd PM Rocksor directly. He gives excellent fish medical advice.

If the methylene blue and kanaplex had zero effect, then it is possible gram positive bacteria may be the culprit. The last thing to try is erythromycin, which should be available from Petsmart.
