Default Mixing Mbuna Cichlids with Peacocks in 65 Gallon

Hi! First, I have an established 10 gallon tank with 4 Mbuna Cichlids. They grew pretty fast and I realized I needed to get a bigger tank to support them. I plan to post pictures of my fish and the tank setup once my tank is stocked.

I upgraded to a 65 gallon tank(36 W X 25 H) which is now in the process of a fishless cycle. Nitrate reading is somewhere around 30-40 PPM. I wanted to add a few peacocks & more Mbuna along with the 4 Mbuna(a total of 10-12 fish) into the 65 gallon tank. The peacocks would be a bit larger than the current Mbuna in the tank. There will be some fake plants with plenty of Decor for them to hide.

I have heard it is ok to mix them. I am wondering thoughts on mixing the two types of Cichlids. Wondering what kind of experiences you guys have had when mixing the two. 10-12 fish should be ok for the 65 gallon with the fish reaching between 4-8 inches?
