Idk what it means, but my Aponogentons Cripus has been flowering a lot. Right now, there are 3 Crispus plants flowering and one identified! Even the Madagascar lace is sending up a flower! But I'd rather leaves, it grows so darn slow! I posted a pic of the unidentified Aponogenton for ID, unfortunately I destroyed the flower before it bloomed, so idk what it looks like, so if anyone knows, let me know! I'm hoping it's an African aponogenton, but have my doubts.
So I took a Qtip and rubbed it along each flower in hopes to fertilize. There was powder flying everywhere. But then what? Gotta find that out.....
Lol, first pic was attempt one at taking a pic of the flower stalks, the angelfish are always such photo hams! Hahaha

The first post wouldn't display the pics of the Aponogentons Crispus flower stalks, with angelfish photobomb, so here's another try. It just makes me laugh, so typical of angelfish when you're trying to get a shot of something else.
Hmmmm, seems to me my Madagascar lace has boomed before, I think I removed the stalk because I wanted it to spend more energy in leaf production. Anyway, thinking about removing the flower stalk....

Thank you CQ, Mac and Matt :)
@RiversGirl Thank you! I know what you mean, since I added the African bulb plants and bolbitis it's really filled out! All the plants I had before are still growing too. I've never been a fan of tanks with too much plant variety because I think it looks unnatural, but this is my first jungle style tank and I love it!
@Taurus Yes you are right! With the help from the members on the forum, stands my problem tank 1.5 years later. What a long wait! Incredible how a tank can evolve without changing anything but procedure! I definitely thought I'd have to tear this tank down, it's so cool how it turned out. Let me think of a new title.
