    Haha tx you two :)
This tank will be a west African tank one day, but for now I use it to keep some of my angels ;)
@Boundava Do you think those are good spots for my bulb plants? If so, I'll add some root tabs under them. Tx!

Ahhhh tx RG! I'll be interesting to see how well the plants grow with more light since removing the wild vals. I kinda let this tank go (as far as planting goes) and do its own thing. I want to grow more stem plants back, but mostly those bulb plants. I DO have to fix the left side cave though, it's collapsing, which will probably involve keeping the fish in tubberware and draining the tank. If the bulb plants grow, I hope they do well, they can stay where they are to establish. I'm kinda scaping with African in mind, a lot of the plants don't like to be moved and take a while to get established. I'll be ahead of the game :)

Well, here's some updated pics of the new bulb plants. They seem to be doing alright, although I'm not sure the Madagascar lace is doing much, and I see a bit of browning on old leaves, not sure if that's to be expected at the higher temp and acclamation? FYI I added a DIY Osmotote tab under each bulb last week.

That lace looks great, Kat. Usually when I see it in other tanks, the leaves are pretty ratty with lots of holes in the...uh...latticework? Do you have yours in areas of pretty decent flow?

I got a new phone with a new camera and took a few quick shots, I was surprised they turned out so clear given the little effort I made taking them.

A few of the angels in this tank, all young gold marble pearlscales. And one pic of the tank. When I got back from a little week vacation, I had to majorly cull a bunch of water lettuce again. Some of the aponogenton cripus threw leaves up passed the surface for some reason. I thought they were flowers, but no, a leaf grew at the ends! And I already had to prune one red tiger lotus leaf that was reaching a little too high. The training has begun. I might break up the bulb by the skull, it's taking a bit longer to establish since the bulb sits so high, but I feel a little more space would help them as well. Idk?

I'm not seeing any problems with your lace plant. Looks really nice and green. They will start browning on the edges when the leaf dies. That might be what's happening to the one leaf that has a little spot of brown at the end.

Andre, the least plant comes in a couple different varieties. Meaning the holes in the leaves are bigger or smaller depending on the variety. They also fluctuate in size depending on the variety.
