    Default Blue Balloon Ram eggs

    3 Not allowed!
So it looks like our blue balloon rams laid eggs. I noticed this morning that one of them has itself sequestered in a corner it doesn't usually even visit, and its aggressively chasing (uncharacteristically) anything that gets close.
Got a closer look and there are a bunch of what I think are eggs?

Lol..Protective Paddy. Yep, those are eggs

The white eggs are not viable and the parents should remove them. They would be able to fertilize better on a larger flat rock surface, but it looks like the father did a pretty good job anyway :) It also means they've been there for 24 hours. Good luck with them!

We tried to pick a male female pair, but mostly to curb aggression. We actually thought we ended up with two males....so this is a bit of a surprise.

We're not really in a position to do much to raise fry, add its a community tank, so honestly they likely won't survive. But it's still kind of cool to see them do their thing.
